Design Process

All Logo Concepts

The three directions explored during the branding process. Option A was selected and is in active use across all platforms.

Option A
✓ Selected The Editorial
Now With AI
Now With AI
The Editorial. Italic serif "Now With" (DM Serif Display) meets a bold, pill-badged "AI" in lime on dark. Feels like a magazine masthead — elevated, confident, a little unexpected. The contrast between the flowing serif and the blocky AI badge is the whole point.
Option B
The Contrast
Now WithAI
Now WithAI
The Contrast. Pure weight tension — "Now With" in ultra-light Inter beside "AI" in ultra-bold. No icons, no serifs, no extras. A lime underline on "AI" grounds it. Feels modern, confident, and distinctly non-tech-bro.
Option C
The Understated

The Understated. All lowercase, medium weight, with a floating lime dot separator and "ai" underlined in lime. No tricks, no marks — just clean, confident type. Feels like a fashion or wellness brand that happens to be about AI.

Brand Identity

Colors

The Now With AI palette is built on four colors. Each one has a job — nothing is decorative for its own sake.

#1a1a1a
Dark
Primary text, backgrounds, logo mark. The anchor of the palette.
#f5f0eb
Beige
Site background, light-mode surfaces, print. The resting state of the brand.
#c1ff72
Lime
Logo badge, primary CTAs, highlights, active states. Always pair with dark text.
#818cf8
Electric Indigo
Section backgrounds, premium product cards, accent CTAs. Always use white text on top.
#ffffff
White
Card surfaces, guide body areas, elevated content zones within beige layouts.
✓ Do
  • Use Dark text on Beige or White surfaces
  • Use Lime for primary CTAs — always with dark text
  • Use Electric Indigo for high-impact section backgrounds
  • Use White text on Electric Indigo backgrounds
  • Use White cards on Beige page backgrounds
✕ Don't
  • Don't use white text on Lime — always dark
  • Don't use Lime as a large background area
  • Don't use Electric Indigo as a text color
  • Don't combine more than 3 palette colors in one layout
  • Don't introduce colors outside this palette in marketing

Brand Identity

Typography

Two fonts. One does the feeling, one does the work. DM Serif Display brings editorial warmth and personality. Inter carries clarity and readability at every size.

to the curious.
Use for: Hero headlines, section titles, pull quotes, chapter headers, guide titles, closing statements.

Style note: Italic weight is used for the "Now With" in the logo. Upright for section headings. Never bold weight — the regular weight has enough presence.

500Medium — nav links, subtle labels

700Bold — section labels, form labels
800ExtraBold — CTAs, logo AI badge, eyebrows
Use for: All body text, UI labels, navigation, buttons, form fields, captions, metadata.

Note: The AI badge in the logo uses Inter 800 — the contrast with DM Serif Display's italic is intentional and deliberate.

Brand Identity

Voice & Tone

Now With AI sounds like a smart, experienced friend explaining something she genuinely loves — not a corporate product, not a hype machine. The voice is warm, direct, and quietly confident. It never talks down, never oversells, and never wastes a word.

Direct
not blunt
We say what we mean and move on. No preamble, no filler. Every sentence earns its place.
Warm
not gushing
There's a real person behind every word. We care about the reader — but we don't perform it with exclamation points.
Clear
not dumbed down
We explain complex things simply — because we understand them well enough to. Jargon is laziness dressed up as expertise.
Confident
not arrogant
We know our stuff. We give recommendations, not menus of options. We say "here's what to do" — not "it depends."
Grounded
not hype-y
No "revolutionary," no "game-changing," no empty promises. We tell the truth about what AI can and can't do — and that's more compelling anyway.
Personal
not oversharing
Michelle's voice is in every word. First person feels natural here. Stories, examples, and real talk — not case studies and thought leadership.

📖 Guides
Conversational and patient. Like sitting down with a smart friend. More personal, more storytelling. Contractions always.

Educational but opinionated. We have a point of view. Tease the answer, don't give it all away — the guide does the deep dive.
📱 Social
Short, punchy, sometimes a little cheeky. Real moments over polished posts. Behind-the-scenes and hot takes do better than announcements.
